The Art Loft
The Art Loft is the working studio of Anita Elder Artist and is situated in the North Georgia Mountains on its own private reserve of 54 acres. Years ago Anita started her journey in art and along the way felt driven to establish an environment where artists could come together for classes, workshops, companionship and an artist’s solitude when needed.

Rates are dependent on the number of occupants so please call or email for quotes. A continental breakfast and catered lunch are included in the rate. All guests are responsible for their own dinner.
These rooms are for participants in Art Loft Workshops only and are not available to the general public.
All rooms and the home have WIFI available.
The Art Loft offers rooms available on a first come first serve basis. Staying at The Art Loft would allow better relaxation and more time to paint so why not stay in comfort and not worry about traveling back and forth to a motel. As these are not hotel or bed and breakfast style rooms but rooms in a private home most amenities are not included.
All rooms share two different bathrooms, two rooms per bathroom, so there are no rooms with a private bath (see more information in the room descriptions below). We provide towels and linens so all you need to bring are your toiletries, painting supplies, and some comfortable cloths for painting and a change for dinner out.
Teachers Nook
Tucked away at the top of the stairs this room is normally reserved for our visiting instructor. It has a queen sized bed with plenty of warm and beautiful antique style furnishings. These include chest of drawers, occasional chair, and a desk.
This room shares a full sized semi-private bathroom with the Harmony Room which is just outside the two doorways for those rooms.
Harmony Room
One of our largest rooms it has two separate large twin sized beds on antique wooden frames. Each bed also has an occasional chair and space for luggage.
This room shares a full sized semi-private bathroom with the Teachers Nook which is just outside the two doorways for those rooms.
Design Room
This spacious room has a queen size bed on an antiques metal bed frame. The room also has a chest of drawers, a rocker chair, a bureau with mirror, and a small desk.
The Design Room and the Inspiration Room share a semi-private jack-n-jill style bathroom that is accessible from within those rooms. The bathroom doors lock so you can secure them for privacy.
Inspiration Room
This spacious room has a full size bed on an antiques wodden bed frame. The room also has an occasional chair, a bureau with mirror, and a small desk.
The Design Room and the Inspiration Room share a semi-private jack-n-jill style bathroom that is accessible from within those rooms. The bathroom doors lock so you can secure them for privacy.
